Job summary

Gaia Talent in Ireland is seeking a Renewable Power Generation Lead to provide senior leadership across the Irish energy market. You will drive strategic direction, strengthen client relationships and support major project delivery in offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and BESS.

The role requires a Chartered Engineer with a strong track record leading energy engineering projects and a deep understanding of the Irish energy policy environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience leading energy engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of Renewable Power Generation sector and Irish energy policy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and strategic leadership across the Irish Renewable Power Generation market.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
• Strengthen the organisation's presence and reputation across Ireland's energy sector.
• Lead and support the delivery of major renewable energy engineering projects.
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to business development and growth strategies.
• Represent the organisation at relevant renewable energy, offshore engineering and industry forums.
• Develop local engineering capability through recruitment, mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Work collaboratively with UK and international renewable energy teams to support a coordinated approach.
• Collaborate with planning, consenting, project management, environmental, transmission and distribution teams.
• Provide strategic input into client engagement, project pursuits and technical proposals.
