Job summary

WSP in Ireland is seeking a senior leader to provide strategic direction across Ireland Energy markets, strengthen client relationships, and support delivery and engagement on landmark RPG projects. You will represent WSP in industry forums and help develop local engineering capability to drive growth in Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Solar, and BESS sectors.

The role requires degree qualification, chartered status and proven experience leading energy engineering projects within the RPG sector.

A little more about your role…

Provide senior leadership across Ireland Energy markets, strengthen presence, build client relationships, support delivery and engagement, represent in forums, and develop local capability. Support the Renewable Power Generation (RPG) growth lead UK&I, and the Ireland Energy lead to ensure a #onewsp approach initially targeting our Ireland RPG Clients with a particular focus, but not limited too Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Solar and BESS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior leadership and client engagement.
• Strengthen market presence for the Energy Business Unit in Ireland.
• Build trusted client relationships.
• Support and lead project delivery and engagement.
• Representing WSP in relevant RPG and Offshore Engineering industry forums.
• Develop Engineering talent and capability in Ireland.

Key Interfaces:

• Work closely with Ireland Senior lead across other business Units, including (but not limited to) Planning and Consenting, PMCM, Earth and Environment as well as relevant client account teams.
• Interfacing with the Energy teams in Ireland across Networks T&D, Low Carbon and Asset Management Teams from Energy BU,
