Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail is seeking an experienced Project/Programme Manager to lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects within a railway environment. You will oversee feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover while maintaining stringent safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a building/engineering/project management degree, Chartered/engineer membership, and 8+ years of project engineering experience with strong leadership and contract

Qualificações

• Building, engineering, construction or project management degree required.
• Member of Engineers Ireland or other relevant professional body.
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary projects in a railway environment.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and contracts.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF) and NEC4/ Public Works forms.
• Experience with safety certification processes and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Safety: act as a focus for safety per SMS and Safety Responsibility Statement.
• Engineering: ensure projects are authorized and progressed per regulations and policy.
• Business: manage, coordinate and control all projects and related activities.
• People: maintain communication with staff and support People Management policy.
• Sustainability: embed sustainability, environmental compliance and carbon reduction.
• Assist Programme Manager in development of Infrastructure and feasibility work.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of projects.
• Implement project and contract control mechanisms and monitor/report.
