Job summary

Crown, Ireland's leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major projects across Ireland and Europe. Remote or hybrid working is available; travel to sites will be required.

The role demands 8+ years of QS experience, strong contract and procurement know‑how, and excellent stakeholder management. Based in Ireland or the UK, you will manage budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts, while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in a QS role within construction.
• Proven experience delivering commercial projects and managing budgets.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and reporting expertise.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and risk management.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Based in Ireland or the UK with driving licence and passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of projects from procurement to final account.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, cost plans and financial reporting.
• Prepare and negotiate interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments and negotiations.
• Review contracts, identify risks and ensure obligations are met.
• Monitor project performance and implement commercial controls.
• Mentor junior QS team members and engage with senior management.
• Travel to project sites in Ireland and Europe as required.
