Job summary

Crown is Ireland's leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor, delivering projects across Ireland and Europe. We seek an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial team on multi-site projects, with remote or hybrid working and travel as needed.

You will manage costs, valuations, variations and final accounts while collaborating with project teams to ensure successful commercial delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related construction discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control and construction contracts.
• Experience in valuations, variations, subcontractor management and final accounts.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and cash flow.
• Prepare interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Assist with tender preparation, pricing submissions and procurement activities.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, payment applications and negotiations.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance, identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial documentation.
• Review contractual documentation and support contract administration.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Carry out site measurements and assess project progress.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Travel to project sites across Ireland and Europe as required.
