Job summary
Crown is Ireland's leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor, delivering innovative building envelope solutions across Ireland and Europe. We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial delivery of major projects across Ireland and Europe, with remote or hybrid working and travel to sites as required.
You will report to the Commercial Manager, lead procurement through final account, manage budgets and risks, mentor junior staff and build strong client
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering commercial management of complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of projects from procurement to final account.
- Manage budgets, cost plans, cash flow and financial reporting.
- Prepare, review and negotiate interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Procurement, subcontractor management, payments and negotiations.
- Review contracts, identify risks and ensure obligations are met.
- Forecast costs, monitor performance and implement controls.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
