Job summary

Rockwell in Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with exposure to mechanical projects to work on a semiconductor project in Kildare. This permanent, full-time role involves managing budgets, final accounts, and subcontractor relationships.

You will ensure contractual compliance, identify commercial risks, and produce detailed monthly reports. A 2+ year background in construction with M&E exposure and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 2+ years of experience as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry, with exposure to mechanical or electrical projects.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Experience with an M&E contractor is favourable.
• Proficiency in MS Office with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.

Responsibilities

• Full management of budgets through construction to final accounts for Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical projects of various sizes.
• Ensure all contractual requirements are met and guide the construction team accordingly.
• Identify potential commercial risks and report them to management.
• Review and update monthly progress reports reflecting remeasurements, site variations, additional work, and claims.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow for the projects.
• Oversee the commercial aspects of all projects to ensure accurate reporting.
