Rockwell is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and procurement for regional projects, initially based in Kildare on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves overseeing all aspects of commercial activity for mechanical projects, with exposure to semiconductor and pharmaceutical contexts.

The candidate should have a 3rd level QS qualification, at least 5 years' experience, strong commercial acumen, and proficient use of MS Office to generate detailed monthly reports.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a quantity surveyor in construction
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to forecast cash flow
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems
• Ability to generate detailed monthly reports

Responsabilités

• Oversee full management, pricing and collation of mechanical projects and budgets
• Ensure contractual requirements are met and guide construction team
• Identify commercial risks and report to management
• Review monthly progress reports for variations and claims
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award to final account
• Forecast turnover and cash flow for projects
• Oversee commercial aspects for accurate reporting
• Stay updated on industry trends in Mechanical/HVAC systems
