Job summary

SSA Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a top Dublin-based Building Main Contractor. Office-based with site visits, you will be responsible for full commercial management of projects, budgeting, cost tracking and forecasting.

This role requires 7+ years post-graduate QS experience, MSCSI or chartership progress, and valid working rights in Ireland. You will liaise with stakeholders, oversee variations and claims, and mentor junior staff on high-value projects across multiple

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 7+ years post-graduate experience in a QS role.
• Large-scale construction site experience.
• MSCSI or working towards chartership.
• Valid working rights within Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects, managing budgets and forecasting costs.
• Overseeing variations and compensation events and advising on potential risks.
• Regular liaison with project stakeholders and mentoring junior staff.
• Reporting to the Commercial Director and supporting end-to-end commercial processes.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual and statutory requirements.

About the role

Office based with site visits, reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for: full commercial management of projects, managing budgets, tracking and forecasting costs, overseeing variations and compensation events, advising on potential risks, regular liaison with project stakeholders, mentoring junior staff, and much more
