Job summary

Carron + Walsh, part of the Tetra Tech network, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning, procurement and financial control on complex construction projects in Ireland.

Based in Cork, Dublin or Waterford and primarily office-based with some flexibility, you will work across a diverse portfolio, drive cost certainty, manage commercial risk and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver value for clients.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying; 5+ years post-qualification experience in Irish construction
• Member of SCSI or RICS or working towards membership
• Strong cost planning, procurement and contract administration experience with commercial awareness and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost planning, forecasting and reporting with rigorous financial oversight
• Manage tendering processes and contract administration in line with construction law
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization while monitoring project performance and risks
