Coffey in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a high-value infrastructure project.

You will manage subcontractors, oversee budgeting and cost control, and deliver accurate financial reporting to support project decisions. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will implement risk and contract administration, collaborate with clients and design teams, and ensure compliance with main contract conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying; chartership desirable but not essential.
• 6–10 years of experience in civil engineering/commercial building construction.
• Strong knowledge of Candy Estimating System and IFS.
• Excellent commercial and accounting skills; familiarity with main contract conditions.

Aufgaben

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and project costs to ensure financial targets.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiate contracts, and verify progress and payments.
• Develop and maintain detailed commercial and financial reporting systems.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect profitability.
• Review variations, claims, and final accounts; manage contract administration.
• Collaborate with client, design team and project members to align financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Estimating experience; Candy Estimating Software an advantage, but not essential.
