Job summary

Carron + Walsh, part of the global Tetra Tech network, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning, procurement, and financial control across a diverse Irish project portfolio.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive cost certainty, manage risk, and deliver value on technically complex schemes from inception to completion, with a strong emphasis on robust reporting and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying and five years of post-qualification experience in Irish construction.
• Member or in progress of SCSI or RICS.
• Experience in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost planning, forecasting, and reporting across projects.
• Drive procurement processes and contract administration to ensure compliance.
• Manage commercial risk and implement value engineering to optimise costs.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to present clear financial data.
