Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally Senior QS.
• Experience on large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of live projects simultaneously.
• Strong budget management and cost control expertise.
• Experience managing trade/subcontractor submissions and spend.
• Strong understanding of cost forecasting and projected spend.
• Experience across procurement, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced project environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of multiple live projects.
• Take ownership of project budgets and cost control.
• Review trade and subcontractor submissions against budgets.
• Monitor actual expenditure, committed costs and remaining budgets.
• Identify cost variances and commercial risks early.
• Prepare cost reports and provide commercial updates.
• Forecast future spend and final costs across the portfolio.
• Manage variations, valuations, payment applications and subcontractor accounts.
• Support procurement and commercial management of trade packages.
• Collaborate with project and site teams on scope, programme and costs.
• Manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project.
• Support successful completion and final accounts.
