Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Ireland/Connacht. You will assist with full commercial management, cost planning and valuations on large-scale healthcare, education, commercial and residential projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree, 3-6+ years’ experience with a main contractor or PQS background, and possess strong commercial awareness and proactive communication. A structured employer supports career progression and stability.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years' experience with a Main Contractor or PQS background.
• Experience on large-scale projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full commercial management of the project.
• Cost planning, budgeting and cost reporting.
• Preparation and submission of valuations.
• Management of subcontractor accounts.
• Procurement support and subcontractor package management.
• Variations, change control and final accounts.
• Close collaboration with site and project management teams.
