Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in Ireland is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of large civil infrastructure projects in the North Dublin area, including a 4,200-seat stadium development and related facilities.

The successful candidate will manage procurement, cost control, and final accounts, while mentoring junior commercial staff and engaging with clients and subcontractors to ensure value and compliance across multiple contracts above €5m.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Experience with design and build contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior commercial staff.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy for the project and adapt it with the Commercial Manager.
• Lead procurement from tenders to final accounts.
• Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow projections and valuations.
• Manage variations with accurate supporting records.
• Provide regular reporting to senior management on performance, risks and opportunities.
