Job summary

John Sisk and Son in Limerick is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the full commercial management of projects. You will work with the contracts manager and project team to safeguard entitlements and optimise financial performance.

The role includes ownership of the commercial strategy, procurement from tendering to final account, and management of risk, variations and disputes in line with NEC and JCT contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial aspects of large construction projects.
• Ability to draft and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and lead commercial teams

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial strategy and forecasts.
• Prepare forecasts, cash flow projections, reconciliations and final accounts.
• Procurement responsibilities from tender prep to subcontract selection.
• Represent the company in commercial matters with stakeholders and clients
