Hunter Savage is partnering with a successful construction company to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Monaghan. The role offers variety across residential, commercial and conservation projects.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' QS experience, degree in Quantity Surveying, and strong cost management/tendering knowledge. Competitive package with benefits and long-term career progression available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, tendering and contracts.
• Social Housing / Residential experience preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budgeting and project forecasting.
• Prepare and manage cost estimates, tenders and contracts.
• Monitor and control project costs to support value and profitability.
• Manage commercial risks linked to costs, contracts and procurement.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Provide financial reporting, cash flow updates and reconciliations.
• Deliver cost advice and value engineering recommendations.
• Work closely with project managers, design teams and procurement teams.

The Role:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Lead cost planning, budgeting and project forecasting
