Job summary

Clancy in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on a major project in the Dublin region. You will work closely with the Managing QS and take ownership of reporting and cost control.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience with Tier 1/2 Irish contractors, a BSc in Quantity Surveying, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills. An opportunity for long-term progression and exposure to brownfield developments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a Tier 1/2 Irish contractor
• Degree qualified e.g. BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Strong commercial management and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for commercial management and reporting on the project
• Work independently while collaborating closely with the Managing QS
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication across the project team
• Support project delivery by monitoring costs, budgets, and financial performance
• Prepare and review commercial documentation, including valuations, claims, and variations

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin and build a long-term relationship. You will take ownership of the commercial aspects of a key / major project in the Dublin Region - working closely with the Managing QS.
