Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a specialist plastering and drylining contractor for a permanent position based in Dublin.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will join a busy commercial team delivering plastering, drylining and internal finishes across high-profile projects. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a junior QS to develop their career within a specialist subcontracting environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (graduate consideration).
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial management of multiple live projects.
• Prepare measurements and take-offs.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement.
• Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Liaise with site teams, clients and main contractors.
• Maintain commercial documentation and project records.
• Support the commercial team across all project stages.

SSA is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established Specialist Plastering & Drylining Contractor for a permanent position based in Dublin.

About the role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will join an experienced commercial team delivering plastering, drylining and internal finishes packages across a range of high-profile construction projects throughout Dublin and the surrounding counties.

Position requirements:

Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 1–3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (graduate experience will also be considered)
• Previous experience within construction is advantageous
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full driving licence preferred
• Valid working rights within Ireland
