Job summary

ALS in Clonmel, Ireland, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality team and ensure compliance with QMS, ISO 17025, INAB, DAFM, DAERA, RSA, and client requirements.

You will own audits, CAPA, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the laboratory's equipment management and calibration programs. This role offers development within a scientific environment and a respected organization.

Qualifications

• Hold a scientific degree with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and QMS in labs.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing a QMS in a lab/technical setting.
• Internal auditing experience and non-conformance management.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the Food Industry and client testing needs.
• Strong IT literacy and reporting/writing skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Quality team on site.
• Maintain ISO17025 accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee eQMS monitoring and performance.
• Coordinate CAPA actions from audits and investigations.
• Lead external audits and report findings.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Oversee change control and risk assessment processes.
• Organize QMS reviews and action plans.
• Support equipment management and calibration records.
• Ensure quality requirements are met and drive continuous improvement.
• Share information with Management Team and report KPIs.
