Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a GMP microbiology lab.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Frontline management in day-to-day supervision of lab activities.
• Allocation, scheduling and managing lab resources.
• Adhere to safety policies and cGMP.
• Performance management and development plans for analysts.
• Ensure quality systems: GMP and ISO17025.
• Develop new testing areas and improve workflows.
• Ensure timely results and client communication.
• Review analyst documentation, data and investigations.
• Prepare and validate test reports.
• Staff training, equipment qualification and method validation.
• Prepare lab for audits and maintain housekeeping and safety.
• Monthly KPI reporting.
• Motivate staff to hit targets and maximise resources.
• Promote team spirit in micro lab.
