Job summary

CLS - Complete Laboratory Solutions seeks an experienced Environment Laboratory Manager to lead inorganic and organic activities in our Galway facility. You will schedule samples, manage workloads, and ensure timely turnaround of results while maintaining ISO17025 and INAB compliance.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, developing the People Agenda, implementing performance management, and liaising with Quality Control and Finance on vendor assessment.

Responsibilities

• Formally manage the environmental laboratory both inorganic and organic activities.
• Scheduling and distribution of samples and workloads.
• Managing turnaround time of results and deadlines including prompt entry and check-off.
• Analyst and team development including coaching and annual appraisals.
• Oversee holiday tracker and staff scheduling.
• Ensure integrity of results and ISO17025 compliance; liaise with Quality Control.
