We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our QA team to write and execute manual and automated tests ensuring product quality. Based in Dublin with remote and flexible hours, this 12-month contractor role involves developing test plans, executing tests, triaging issues, and collaborating with developers,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with manual testing and automation as a QA Engineer.
• Experience with back-office system testing, integration testing and API testing.
• Experience writing test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (AWS Code Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitrise).

Contractor (12 month) - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

MOST is a rapidly growing payment technology solutions company at the intersection of fintech and travel retail. We enable businesses to take payments and manage retail in complex, fast-moving and low-connectivity environments. With offices in Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago and Dublin, an agile team and advanced technology, MOST offers a modular suite of products and services, including software retail platforms, a secure payment gateway, portable customized payment hardware solutions.

The Opportunity

As we ramp up our business, we are now looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer to work with our QA team to write and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will work in an agile environment with the QA team, development, product and customer facing team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will become a SME on our back-office systems and related applications for a complete end-to-end testing solution.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for new and existing product features.
• Work alongside developers to manually test new features during the development process.Test software applications and report and gather information to help debug issues.
• Work closely with the development and product teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently and implement corrective and preventative actions as required.
• Triage, reproduce and debug technical support request and bugs.
• Maintain regression test scripts/testing scenarios and criteria.

About you

• Applicants must currently be based in the EEA and currently have a valid working visa to enable them to provide services to an Irish company (note Ireland does not participate in the EU Blue Card Scheme).
• You have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with manual testing, testing applications, and automation as a QA Engineer.
• You have experience with back-office system testing, integration testing and API testing, which will require a good depth and breadth of technical knowledge.
• You have experience in writing test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
• You have a good understanding of continuous integration and delivery tools e.g. AWS Code Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitrise.
• You are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You work very well within an agile environment and can collaborate and provide feedback to other team members in a multinational and cross functional environment.
• You are able to solve problems and enjoy learning new concepts.
• You are passionate about quality with a keen eye for detail
• Prior experience in a security conscious environment an advantage.
• ISTQB or similar certification an advantage.
