Job summary

Version 1 in Ireland is seeking a QA Engineer to support quality assurance activities and ensure software products meet quality, reliability and performance requirements.

Focused on improving operational efficiency, capacity and customer experience through technology, the role collaborates with designers, developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, WDIO, Cypress or Appium.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps and test management platforms such as TestRail or Zephyr.
• API testing experience.
• Git and GitHub workflows experience.
• Experience with performance testing (K6, JMeter).
• Azure cloud experiences and testing microservices.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and working in Agile/DevOps environments.

• Experience with K6, JMeter or other performance-testing platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure services and cloud environments.
• Experience testing microservice-based architectures.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced colleagues.
• Agile or DevOps certifications such as Scrum Master or Cloud Foundations.
• Experience delivering mobile test automation with Appium.
