Job summary

Partner Company in Ireland is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript) to strengthen software quality across a portfolio of products. You will design and maintain E2E and API tests, migrate legacy Java tests to a modern Playwright framework, and contribute to performance engineering with load testing using k6.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in software quality assurance or related engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright in test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E and API tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Lead migration of legacy Java/Selenide tests to Playwright/TypeScript framework.
• Build and improve test automation architecture with fixtures and parallel execution.
• Develop load-testing scenarios using k6 and collaborate on performance analysis.
• Evaluate performance metrics and identify scalability improvements.
• Apply test design techniques for UI, API, and performance layers.
• Write clean, concurrency-safe automation code.
• Conduct code reviews and promote QA standards.
• Collaborate with product, devs, and QA to integrate quality practices.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and test suites integration.
• Explore AI-assisted tools to streamline testing.
