Job summary

RWS Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the test strategy, design and maintain automation frameworks, and drive performance and resilience across multiple teams. You will coach engineers, collaborate with the Head of Quality Engineering, and contribute to the product codebase to release more confidently.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, writing code, building systems, and shaping quality practices across the organisation’s engineering teams in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills across multiple stacks.
• Track record moving teams to automated regression confidence.
• Framework and tooling design experience for automation frameworks.
• Depth in performance/load/testing or test architecture or AI-enabled testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the test approach and quality strategy for your area.
• Design and own automation frameworks and tooling.
• Own performance, load, and resilience metrics for your area.
• Work across teams with Head of Quality Engineering and other senior engineers.
• Contribute to the product codebase and improve testability.
• Lead production quality investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate and land AI quality tooling with trials and recommendations.
• Raise the bar by coaching developers and shifting team practices.
