Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an Automation Tester/SDET in Ireland to drive quality through automation. You will design and maintain automated test frameworks and develop suites for web, API, and backend services, while supporting CI/CD and shift-left testing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation and software testing.
• Hands-on knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
• Experience with API testing and modern QA methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with Agile environments, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Creating automated test suites for web, API, and backend services.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing practices.
• Performing regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identifying issues early and improving overall product quality.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to build quality into every release.
