Job summary

Albany Beck is partnering with a leading Financial Technology organisation to recruit a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering critical transaction processing and digital payment solutions used at scale. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Quality Engineer who is passionate about automation, software quality, and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites
• Drive testing activities across the full software development lifecycle
• Build and enhance automated regression coverage for APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows
• Perform functional, integration, API, and non-functional testing
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Investigate defects and quality issues through to resolution
• Support release validation, production readiness, and post-release verification activities
• Contribute to testing strategy, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, test reliability, and delivery efficiency
• Mentor and support junior QA team members where appropriate
