Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork seeks a senior test and verification engineer to own automated test systems for AI and embedded software at scale. You will drive architectural decisions and delivery, shaping quality across global CI/CD pipelines while remaining hands-on in code.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master's preferred).
8+ years in software engineering, test infrastructure, or systems verification.
Strong Python and at least one systems language (C/C++).

Responsibilities

Define architecture for automated test systems supporting real-world AI and embedded software products.
Own the technical direction of Python-based test automation frameworks in CI/CD pipelines.
Improve CI infrastructure (Jenkins) at a systems level; ensure reliability and observability.
Define testing requirements, coverage strategies, and quality gates with engineering leads.
Mentor engineers and conduct design reviews to raise engineering quality.
Communicate technical strategy and trade-offs to engineering and management stakeholders.
