Stelfox IT Recruitment is seeking three Senior Python Engineers for a Dublin-based, hybrid role on a 6-month initial contract with rolling extensions. You will join a high-performing engineering team building scalable backend platforms, APIs, and distributed services to support critical business operations and future growth.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of Python software development, strong API expertise, deep SQL knowledge, and hands-on Flask/Django experience.

Formación

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with Python.
• Proven experience building and supporting RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
• Solid Linux/Unix development and administration experience.
• Experience working with Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable backend architectures.
• Experience working within Agile software delivery teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend applications using Python.
• Develop and support scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams, and Software Engineers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems and cloud-native solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members where required.

Stelfox is partnering with a rapidly growing Dublin-based technology organisation that is expanding its engineering function and looking to hire three Senior Python Engineer on a long-term contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team working on the design, development, and enhancement of scalable backend platforms, APIs, and distributed services that support critical business operations and future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend applications using Python
• Develop and support scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams, and Software Engineers
