Job summary

Stelfox Limited in Dublin is seeking a Senior Python Developer (AI) for a 6-month rolling contract on a hybrid basis (Dublin | Hybrid(3DaysOnsite)). The role focuses on designing and delivering AI-powered automation projects across enterprise platforms using Copilot Studio and the Power Platform.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs, integrations, and supporting services in Python, as well as mentoring peers and guiding Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong commercial experience with Python development.
• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of JSON, web services, and integration frameworks.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications within large organisations.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Strong software design and solution architecture capabilities.

• Design and develop AI-powered workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Build, configure, and maintain Copilot Studio agents, actions, tools, and orchestration workflows.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and enterprise applications using modern integration patterns.
• Create supporting services and automation components using Python.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and support engineering standards across the team.
• Mentor developers and contribute to Agile delivery activities including sprint planning and estimation.

• knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol), Generative AI/LLMs, Agentic AI, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and providing technical leadership and mentoring within complex enterprise environments.
