Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a long-term contract in Ireland. The role offers a hybrid setup with three days on-site per month, supporting an Azure-based, AI-powered regulatory risk platform used by major financial services clients.

You will own core backend components, collaborate with global teams, and drive DevOps automation across CI/CD to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Python Development.
• Banking/Financial Sector experience.
• Experience working with AWS and Linux environments.
• Excellent Framework experience (Django, Flask, FastAPI).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key components of a mission-critical SaaS platform.
• Shape solutions with Business and Technical teams, rapidly prototype ideas, and champion new approaches.
• Develop web applications and APIs that power client access to regulatory content.
• Drive automation across DevOps and CI/CD, streamlining deployments and enabling faster, more reliable software delivery.
