Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Hands-on with Flask or Django and RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL and relational DB expertise.
• Linux/Unix development and admin experience.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, and CI/CD.
• Experience in Agile software delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend applications using Python.

• Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems and cloud-native solutions.

Stelfox is partnering with a rapidly growing Dublin-based technology organisation that is expanding its engineering function and looking to hire three Senior Python Developers on a long-term contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team working on the design, development, and enhancement of scalable backend platforms, APIs, and distributed services that support critical business operations and future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend applications using Python
• Develop and support scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems and cloud-native solutions
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams, and Software Engineers
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions

Required Experience
