Job summary

St Michaels House is recruiting a Senior Psychologist to join the Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) to deliver services to children with complex needs arising from disability and their families in a family-centred model. The role includes involvement in clinical audit, research, and development of evidence-informed pathways alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Recognised post-graduate qualification in Clinical, Educational or Counselling psychology meeting PSY Ireland requirements.
  • Qualifications from outside Ireland must be validated by the Department of Health.
  • Experience with children with complex behavioural presentations across settings and supporting families/educators.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a disability or children's service.
  • Demonstrate collaborative working within interdisciplinary and multiagency teams.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in clinical audit and research and establishment of evidence-informed pathways for service delivery.
  • Incorporate service development initiatives including complex behaviour support.
  • Line management will be by the CDNT Manager with clinical supervision provided by the Principal Psychologist.
