Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Senior Psychologist to join a Children’s Disability Network based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychologist who is committed to supporting children and young people with complex developmental needs and their families within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Role Overview

As a Senior Psychologist within the CDNT, you will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team delivering comprehensive assessments, evidence-based interventions, and family-centred supports to children with developmental disabilities.

You will play a central role in clinical leadership, service planning, supervision, and the ongoing development of best practice within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for children and their families.

  • Work collaboratively with members of the CDNT, including Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers.

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of individualised intervention plans.

  • Provide clinical supervision and professional support to junior psychologists and team members as required.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports in accordance with professional and organisational standards.

Essential Requirements
  • A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.

  • Current registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) is essential.

  • A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience, including at least two years working with children with disabilities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
