Senior Project Planner – Transportation Infra (Primavera P6)

Job summary

Egis is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Planner to join our Ireland transportation team. You will develop and maintain robust control of the programme, supporting the project and programme teams in planning and reporting activities.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Based in Ireland, you will work across multiple offices and projects, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Transportation, Infrastructure or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience in a project planning position.
• Excellent knowledge of planning software.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
• Other scheduling software experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering major projects in a contractor environment.
• Excellent people management, communication and client management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope and work breakdown structure for delivery programme.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on programme, budget and risk baselines.
• Support timely submissions of programmes.
• Manage and close out programme comments from Client/Contractor.
• Produce Programme communications on Primavera P6.
• Track design deliverables and dependencies on the programme.
• Coordinate with Quality & Assurance to manage handover deliverables.
• Integrate Tender Event Schedule with programme and track long-lead items.
• Update Programme for Actual progress on site.
