Job summary

Egis is seeking a dynamic Planning Manager to lead the planning function for its transportation projects in Ireland. The role focuses on developing and maintaining robust project programmes, aligning with client requirements, and coordinating across engineering, commercial and procurement teams.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in transportation, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Proven track record in project planning roles.
• Excellent knowledge of planning software and scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
• Willingness to travel for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the planning team to deliver robust programme management.
• Define and maintain project programmes, tracking milestones and critical dates.
• Coordinate with subcontractor information and earned value analysis.
• Support commercial activities with programme data for quotations and forecasts.
• Ensure timely reviews and responses to client comments and change events.
• Maintain daily checks on CEMAR and manage programme communications with stakeholders.
• Integrate planning with procurement, construction, and reporting functions.
