Job summary

Egis in Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our transportation team. You will develop and maintain robust programme control, support project managers, and ensure integrated planning, cost baselines and timely submissions across multiple projects.

The role requires Primavera P6 and MS Project proficiency, strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex schedules in a dynamic environment. Flexible to base in Dublin, Cork, Castlebar or Limerick.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transportation, Infrastructure or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience in a project planning position.
• Excellent knowledge of planning software and scheduling methods.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the scope and work breakdown structure for the delivery programme.
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure programme, budget and risk baselines are aligned.
• Support timely submissions of programmes and manage client/contractor comments.
• Produce Programme communications on Primavera P6 and track progress.
• Liaise with Design Team to track deliverables and impacts on procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with QA/Assurance to ensure handover deliverables are tracked.
• Implement Earned Value Analysis by integrating cost and schedule.
• Collaborate with commercial team to align KPIs (SPI/CPI).
• Carry out time impact assessments for contract changes and approvals.
• Lead programme workshops to review time impact and mitigation.
• Integrate Tender Event Schedule with programme and monitor long-lead items.
• Update Programme with Actual progress on site per shift reports.
