Job summary

Egis is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the planning function across Ireland projects within the transportation team. You will develop and maintain robust control of project programmes, provide planning support to project teams, and ensure alignment with client requirements and contractual milestones.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Proven track record in project planning roles.
• Excellent knowledge of planning software and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the planning team to ensure clear requirements and achievable goals.
• Develop, update and maintain project programmes and conduct regular progress reviews.
• Maintain relationships with the client planning team to align programmes with contract requirements.
• Model Earned Value components and manage spend, forecast and performance indices.
• Ensure critical changes are communicated promptly to stakeholders and reflected in the programme.
• Coordinate with procurement and commercial teams to align tender events and labour/expenditure profiles.
