Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks a Senior Project Manager with Life Assurance sector experience to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation and closure. You will work with our programme manager on an existing IT Life Assurance team to ensure seamless delivery for brokers, customers and underwriters.

You’ll drive deployments, optimise processes and foster collaboration to ensure efficient, value-driven rollouts across a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in large, complex programs.
• Strong track record delivering in an Agile environment.
• Experience delivering multi-process technology solutions in a legacy IT environment.
• Technology literate with experience managing system integration projects.
• Collaboration with design/product teams and managing vendor relationships.
• Scrum Master experience preferable; Life insurance experience in Ireland is a plus.

Senior Project Manager - Life Assurance Sector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who comes from the Life Assurance sector to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through to implementation and closure. The successful candidate will primarily work closely with our programme manager on an existing IT Life Assurance IT team, you’ll ensure our project team — internal and external—work seamlessly to deliver innovative application solutions for our brokers, customers, and underwriters. You’ll drive the monthly deployments, optimize processes, and foster collaboration, making sure every rollout is efficient, sustainable, and brings real value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across business, technology, and change teams
• Define project scope, objectives, and delivery plans aligned to business priorities
• Manage governance, reporting, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Own project budgets and ensure effective cost control
• Coordinate and manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners
• Provide clear, concise status updates to project teams and senior leadership
• Ensure project deliverables are reviewed, approved, and signed off

Core Technical Competencies

• 5+ years Project Management experience, including experience in large, complex, multi-location programs or projects
• Strong track record of delivering in an Agile environment
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-process technology solutions in a legacy IT environment
• Technology literate, with proven experience in managing system integration projects
• Strong understanding of product and design and ideally have worked with design or product teams
• Experience of working in and managing customer and vendor relationships in a matrixed management environment
• Scrum Master experience preferable
• Life insurance experience in the Irish market preferable
