Raretec Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Life Actuarial Senior Manager for a global professional services firm. The role is client-facing, involves leading actuarial and multidisciplinary projects across life insurance and reinsurance, and shaping the growth of the practice.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office. You will mentor junior team members, manage clients, and contribute to thought leadership and business development. This is a senior, high-impact opportunity.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with 8+ years post-qualification experience.

Job description

We are recruiting a Life Actuarial Senior Manager on behalf of a well-known global professional services firm in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified actuary looking to take on a senior client-facing role, work across a diverse portfolio of projects, and play a key role in the continued growth of an established actuarial and risk consulting practice.

The Role

You will be involved in the delivery and management of a broad range of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, working closely with senior stakeholders and clients across the life insurance and reinsurance market.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the delivery of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisor
• Overseeing the production of high-quality client deliverables
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior team members
• Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients
• Developing areas of technical expertise and contributing to thought leadership and the growth of the practice
• Working collaboratively across actuarial, risk, assurance and wider consulting teams
• Supporting a diverse range of consulting and assurance engagements

What we're looking for

• Qualified Actuary with 8+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong background within life insurance, reinsurance or actuarial consulting
• Previous experience managing teams and delivering complex projects
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident and credible when working with senior clients and stakeholders
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop client opportunities
