Job summary

Design Build Search are working with a leading developer in Cork to hire a Senior Project Manager. You will oversee day-to-day site operations and work closely with the Construction Director to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, emphasising safety, sustainability and quality.

The role requires 7+ years in Construction Management with residential project experience, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of BIM and digital construction technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in Construction Management with project experience.
• Residential project experience is required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and create contractual requirements and scope objectives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Mentoring experience for junior teams.

The successful applicant will oversee the day to day running of the site. Within this position you will work closely with the Construction Director to ensure their projects are delivered highest standard, emphasising safety, sustainability and quality.

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Management including previous project management experience
• Previous experience on residential projects
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and report effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent leadership skills and Be able to Demonstrate Mentoring Experience of Junior Teams
