Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a team of engineers in delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure projects. The role focuses on supporting the Head of Function and delivering the 2030 Climate Action Plan, while embedding a programmatic approach to project delivery and renewables integration.

You will collaborate across the organisation, engage stakeholders, manage risk, governance, and budgets, and drive strategic outcomes to transform Ireland’s power system for future

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or an equivalent degree, typically with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.
• Extensive experience in structuring and executing complex projects as a project manager.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders to deliver on project goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant infrastructure delivery programmes aligned with the business strategy.
• Manage the programme delivery of a broad range of projects in support of the 2030 Climate Action Plan.
• Lead the development of the overall approach for the programme and its major deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and represent the business in engagements.
