Job summary

Etsy is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Payments team to lead the end-to-end tax experience and compliance strategy for Etsy’s global marketplace. This full-time role reports to the Senior Director of Product, Marketplace Trust, and involves building a scalable tax platform for buyers and sellers across 52 countries and 21 currencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading product initiatives.
• Ability to balance qualitative and quantitative data with intuition.
• Knowledge of tax platforms or related vendor integrations is a strong plus.
• Advocate for customer needs and minimize negative experiences.
• Collaborate with Tax, Engineering, Product Design, Marketing and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, analytics, design, and other teams to define and prioritize high-impact projects.
• Develop, own, and manage the tax team's strategy and roadmap.
• Communicate plans and commitments to partners on an ongoing cadence.
• Drive execution with engineering and analytics partners, owning product and operational metrics.
• Incorporate analysis and customer feedback into product requirements to satisfy needs and wants.
• Role may evolve with time and local laws.
