Job summary

BD Ireland is seeking a Senior Product Development Program Manager in Limerick to lead complex product development programs from planning through commercialization and launch. You will define program structure, gather technical, business and customer requirements, and guide cross‑functional teams toward delivering innovative medtech products.

You will shape go‑to‑market strategies, manage risks, dependencies and decisions, and communicate clearly to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant program or project management experience with complex product development.
• Solid understanding of project management, risk management and phase-gate development.
• Ability to connect technical, business and customer requirements into clear plans.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing direction without formal authority.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the program architecture for complex product development and commercialization programs.
• Build integrated project plans, work breakdown structures, product requirements and priorities across workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional teams through development, commercialization, go-to-market planning and launch.
• Identify, assess and manage technical, schedule, resource and business risks.
• Unify technical, commercial and customer insights to develop differentiated solutions and concepts.
• Guide trade-offs by evaluating requirements, risks, dependencies and commercial objectives.
• Communicate complex program topics clearly to senior leaders for timely decisions.
