Job summary

BD is seeking a highly organized Senior Project Manager for its Peripheral Intervention unit in Limerick. The role interfaces between BI Leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions.

The candidate should bring substantial experience in medical devices, strong communication skills, and a track record of coordinating complex programs while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, or a similar role within medical devices (or highly regulated industry).
• Strong understanding of product development processes and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Business Unit and cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Coordinate and support projects throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development to commercialisation.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
• Facilitate project governance activities, including status reviews, leadership updates, and portfolio planning meetings.
• Identify, track, and communicate project risks, dependencies, and issues, driving timely resolution and escalation when required.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, design controls, and applicable regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
• Support portfolio management activities such as project prioritisation, resource planning, and capacity management.
• Translate business strategies and objectives into actionable project plans that support commercial, clinical, and regulatory goals.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management, tracking, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration processes.
