The Role

This is a senior, hands‑on analytics role focused on understanding and improving the full subscriber lifecycle — from acquisition and conversion through engagement, retention, churn and long‑term customer value. You will combine strong technical capability with commercial curiosity, turning data into clear recommendations that support better decisions.
You will remain part of our central Group Analytics team, reporting to the Analytics Manager while developing deep expertise in Subscriptions & Commercial. Analytics is your home; Commercial is your specialism.

The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for instructions. You should be comfortable taking an ambiguous commercial question, determining the right analytical approach, working through the data and explaining what you think the business should do next.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity to take analytical ownership of an important commercial domain while remaining part of a broader Analytics team. You will help connect acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention and customer value, and turn those relationships into practical decisions across our subscription business.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of data, customer behaviour, product and commercial decision‑making, this role will give you the scope to make a meaningful impact.
If you are excited by content, technology, storytelling and the future of journalism, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working on challenges that are both technically complex and highly visible.
The Irish Times Group operates a hybrid working policy.
Our benefits include Health Insurance Contribution, Pension Contribution, Sick Leave Cover, Maternity and Paternity Leave, Irish Times Premium Digital Subscription, Income Protection Policy, Corporate Gym Membership Discounts, Free Digital GP and Life Assurance Policy.
