Job summary

embecta is a global medical device company with a long history in insulin delivery and diabetes care, expanding its Pen Needle product line. A Senior Process Engineer will lead a team in a high-volume, fully automated manufacturing environment to deliver on safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

You will drive structured problem solving, improve equipment setup, and collaborate with development teams to ensure robust process windows and successful handovers to production.

Qualifications

• Requires strong data analysis skills and experience applying Six Sigma or equivalent problem‑solving approaches.
• Knowledge of Lean techniques: Standard Work, TPM.
• Familiarity with equipment validation and documentation within a regulated industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and/or technicians to support the production and maintenance teams and troubleshoot daily issues.
• Champion a data‑driven approach to investigate and resolve process issues.
• Drive structured problem‑solving to improve equipment setup and process capability.
• Standardise and optimise equipment set‑up to improve efficiency and uptime.
• Lead investigations into QN, Customer Complaints and CAPAs and manage change controls.
