Qualifications

• 10+ years of programming experience in C/C++, Java or Python, with large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in distributed storage or related infrastructure technologies
• Ability to define technical strategy and translate business objectives into architectural direction and roadmaps
• Experience guiding AI-enabled development and production-grade software
• Desirable: OS, networking, and storage internals knowledge

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architectural direction for a major product area, aligning with long-term strategy
• Translate business objectives into technical specifications and executable plans
• Drive adoption of improved engineering workflows, reusable tools, and AI-assisted development practices
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity
• Mentor engineers within and beyond the team to raise technical judgment and autonomy
