Job summary

Analog Devices, Cork, Ireland, is seeking an Embedded Software Architect to define software vision for the Datacenters & Energy unit and lead architectures for next-gen power management. You will design real-time embedded systems, balance performance and efficiency, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions with high security and reliability.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep RTOS, hardware interface knowledge and guiding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
20+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of software development.
10+ years architecting and designing complex embedded software systems.
Ability to read and understand hardware schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements for complex embedded power-management systems.
Lead the design of robust, scalable, real-time embedded software architectures.
Choose platforms, frameworks and tools that fit system requirements.
Mentor team members from junior to senior levels.
Create documentation to support architecture definitions and diagrams.
Communicate architecture rationale clearly to stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and adoption of modern methods and AI.
